The needle tips and cables of the SmartStix set, just all SmartStix items, have markings in 2 cm increments all across them. This means you can use the set like a measuring tape.
Note for US customers: these marking spacings are slightly shorter (2 cm = 0.79 in) than the marking spacings on the US version of this product, which are exactly 1 inch.
The ~12 cm (4.7 in) long needle tips are made of aluminium and warm easily when held, which makes them very pleasant to use. The cables are flexible and come in different colors (each length has a different color). The transition between needle and cable is so smooth, you can hardly tell its there.
With the included cable keys, the connection process is hassle free.
The set can be combined and extended with other short or regular length needle tips and cables by the same manufacturer.
